Fatih Yildiz is Founding member of the Department of Food Engineering at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Türkiye. He has obtained his main education at Maryland University in College Park, USA. He worked as professor at the University of Minnesota and the Maryland Universities in the USA.
Prof.Dr.Fatih YILDIZ, as an author and editor, published several books which are all the first book in the Food Science and Engineering Field. Publications include; “Phytoestrogens in Functional Foods”(2006), “Advances in Food Biochemistry”(2010), “Development and Manufacturing of Yogurt and Other Functional Dairy, Products”(2010, published by CRC(Taylor and Francis,USA). “Yildiz F. and Wiley R.C. Dr. YILDIZ Served as Chairman of the Turkish Food Codex commission.
Prof. Yildiz’s current research activities are focused on functional foods, health claims, as well as DNA and Digital technologies in food and agriculture and minimally processed foods technology.
Prof. Yildiz is currently Founder and Director of Mogan International Research Center in Ankara Türkiye, organizing conferences, teaching in universities, writing books and consultant for companies among others.
